Well...Let's see here.

Okay, so there were many things I really enjoyed about the class and some things I did not. I really liked the randomness of the class and thought it was a lot of fun more of the time. Especially how Peter said the art school in California that he is going to a grand total of 23 times. I liked the egg project and the final project the most. I think those drove my personal creativity the most. The one assignment that I really did not enjoy was the bible dipping assignment...symbol for sound. Hated it! Probably because I just could not come up with anything hat I wanted to do. I thought of a couple video ideas but I'm not big on doing that stuff. I did think some people had really good ideas on it though, like the video. I definitely got a lot out of the class and will probably be popping in to future ones from time to time to see whats going on in them. It is absolutely one of the most different classes I have ever had, but it was a blast.

And on a side note, I really did like learning about Quantum Physics! It was really interesting to me and I would say you should at least touch on it every semester!

The last one...muahahahaha

So I enjoyed looking at what everyone did for their final projects for the class. There were definitely some that were really amazing. I especially enjoyed Today and Tomorrow...really well done man! I really enjoyed the entire semester and look forward to seeing what comes from the future classes.

Which One Is It?

Here is what I have created, it didn't go exactly as I wanted it to because I couldn't figure out how to do some things in unreal with the time frame I had.

Trying To Wrap My Head Around This.

Okay, so in class today we talked about quantum physics and I started thinking about alternate universes and how they are seen and not seen and that is how they can exist. Well branching off of this idea I started thinking about what if there is not just one but millions upon millions of alternate universes and the one that we see is the one we are in. Well this got me thinking about while we are sleeping we dream...several dreams a night in fact. So I wondered, what if our dreams were glimpses of alternate worlds that are or could be or could have been all at once, and we can only access these areas while we are sleeping. And what about when you die in a dream, well my theory on that is that if you chose that path some day in the past or that is just what is happening now but in a different reality then you would be dead in that reality but you do not live in that one so therefore you are still alive. Kinda hard to completely get my point across...it's all very confusing stuff but I found it to be an interesting topic for class and enjoyed listening to what everyone had to say about it.

The Five

What is color - I liked this one for many reasons. It got me thinking, how do we know that what we see is the actual color of things? What if everything is not as it seems, what if dogs see how the world really is?
What is a hero - I like this one because it made me question...are heroes real? Or are they just fictional characters in stories? Could anyone become a hero, or could anyone do heroic things?
What is war - This is a question that has been asked for as long as there has been war on our planet. It sparks other ideas for me. Will war be the end of humanity as we know it, or is it possible to find a peace throughout. Probably not, but it is nice to think so. This leads to my next favorite...
What is peace - How can there be peace in a world that is so strongly dominated by power and greed? If certain sections of the world were wiped out, or certain religions erased, could there be an everlasting peace, and would it be worth it?
What is freedom - Freedom I think is something we as Americans take for granted. We go about our every day lives and most people wouldn't think twice about how some people and places have little to no freedom at all. This makes me think of one big question...who's responsibility is it to guarantee that the world is a free place?

Stormy Weather Ahead

Class today got me thinking on my drive home of the things that people love so much. And low and behold I was heading straight into another one of the Midwests finest storms. And as I was heading into it, I turned off my music and the AC and just listened to me approaching it. After class today I realize why people love thunderstorms so much...especially in Texas because they are few and far between but when they come they come with a vengeance. But I enjoy storms so much (not so much the driving in them), because they are a beautiful representation of how powerful and graceful the weather can be. With the amazing formations of lightning to the rolling crashes of thunder, and then before you know it they are gone and there is nothing but blue skies and sun to be had. People love them so much because they are short lived and amazing...at least that's how I perceive them.

What the eff?

Well for this assignment we were asked to create something that deals with contrast.

So from what I gathered out of what we made, it is an XY which is male. And we made it into the shape of a person using various items we found on campus. We placed a flower where the reproductive part of the person is. The flower indicated that this person is a female, because of the phrase "deflower".

This contrasted two things that are found in almost every living thing on the planet...male and female. There are endless differences between the two and you could go into more discussion about it but the conversation could never end.
